"Oh, the Horror!" at Space Club HQ

I will be showing two pieces from the series "Drone Porn," Monster F**k 1 and 2. These mixed media works juxtapose static imagery taken from satellite unmanned drone attack footage found online, with imagery from vintage Playboy magazines and 80's mainstream horror films. 

“Oh, the Horror!” is Space Club HQ's 2nd floor exhibition running through the month of October showcasing works of art that deal with the subject of ‘horror’, from the comedic to the grotesque.

 These pieces are part of the series Home Invasion. They represent the human companions that generally have an exclusive type of access to their owners and possess an allegiance toward the household as protectors or guardians of the home. I wanted to capture a particular type of energy that  alludes to their mystique.
